Maybe it is time for established orphan homes for children instead of foster homes?

I think it would be a better idea if we went back to some standards of respectability and morality in behavior and to holding people accountable for their actions, not giving them excuses and escapes. But then that wouldn't be politically correct, now would it? My question is, why the h*ll should we care what is politically correct? Our culture and our children (our future) are going to hell in a handbasket, and we're worried about p*ssing off some blowhard, godless malcontents. If they're so all fire anxious to go to hell, more power to them., but let them paddle their own canoes and leave the rest of us alone!

I snapped this when I was out cleaning the patio this morning. The hummers are so funny. Around this time of evening, my yard is buzzing with these little miniature X-wing fighter birds chasing each other all over the place, with a precision that is just amazing. They don't seem like serious battles; more like rituals.

From
this thread:
"the United States deliberately encourages, and even makes necessary by its laws, the breeding, with a breakneck rapidity, of idiots, defectives, diseased, feeble-minded and criminal classes. The American public is heaily taxed to maintain an increasing race of morons which threatens the very foundation of our civilization."
I would find that statement completely outrageious if I couldn't see an element of truth in it. I need a vacation!
