Absolutely unacceptable. Paula must audition ME before anyone else.
Abdul has issued a statement in which she says she "will not dignify the false statements made by Corey Clark with a response."
So she and he had a relationship at one time and she cared for him and this is his response later?
Yeah, like this will jump-start the career!
I don't think anyone will ever hire this guy and he will have to fulfill his dreams now in the garden department of Home Depot.
I can't stand the show. Why should I care?
I think a few trips to the tanning bed are more than sufficient.
Exactly!
Any GENTLEMAN who cared enough about someone he KNEW was a celebrity to get involved with her in the first place would realize the importance of her public image to her and respect her need for DISCRETION...if he had a real 'need' to 'set the record straight' with his own family members or close few who knew something then he might set the record straight privately in strict confidence but would never go public and hurt her.
Sadly some 'low' people today would likely say chivalry is dead and gentlemen are anachronistic fools who are few and far between anyway and that in this media obsessed age a mere book deal trumps once-common standards of honouring and keeping faith with a lady :-(.
They'd be WRONG...but I guess they have another all-too-common-these-days poster boy for ill-mannered indiscreet unchivalry in the form of this lowlife :-(.
Regardless of whether any of these allegations are true or untrue I feel sorry for Paula.
Don't jump to conclusions.
I think that picture just has too much light on it. Paula's dad is a Syrian Jew.
Very good post and very well said.
Off to check out his website.
Her father is Syrian.
It looks like a poorly developed site. A lot of flash (literally) and no substance.
I noticed the American Idol show tonight highlighted comments by the contestants stating how much they enjoyed the special attention they were receiving in regards to being coached in how to dress and sing. As if this was Idol's way of saying Corey is no different from any other contestant, they are all coached by the judges, producers, and staff. Now whether Paula actually had an affair with the guy remains to be seen, bur from what I read, his allegations sound phoney or at best he misconstrued any actions by P. Abdul.
Time will tell.
It is all about sex, move on, private lives....nothing here.
I see Drudge is featuring this story with an upside-down Am Idol logo.
I watched the Prime Time special. Paula's toy boy isn't lying. But what really hit me was listening to the ex-idol contenders comments regarding how unfair it was..he got extra help..they had worked so hard and he was getting special treatment they didn't get ..blah, blah, blah.
It reminded me of Affirmative Action. When others are put ahead or on the same level because "they are chosen" by the powers that be. I just wonder if anyone who gets by on Affirmative Action can see the correlation here.
