Speculation mounted yesterday that ``American Idol'' judge Paula Abdul may be voted off the hit reality show after ABC airs a damning investigation tomorrow night.
Abdul, who has been under fire for erratic on-air behavior, may voluntarily vacate the judge's podium after ``Primetime Live'' airs answering-machine messages she left for a 24-year-old contestant.
The Drudge Report says Abdul personally coached the contestant and then tried to cover it up. Speculation surrounds Corey Clark, who was run off the show last season after it was revealed he assaulted his teenage sister.
Clark is peddling a tell-all biography in which he claims the 42-year-old singer seduced him, then paid his expenses and promised to pay $2 million toward his pop career if he kept their romance secret.
``She warned me, `Don't screw me over or you'll be sorry,' '' Clark was quoted as saying. But Abdul's spokesman insists: ``Paula Abdul disputes the allegations contained in Corey Clark's book proposal.''
Supermarket tabloids report Abdul went so far as to promise to help Clark choose his songs and help his stage style. Late-night phone calls and phone messages reportedly back up the claims.
ABC is planning to air the tapes along with interviews with former contestants who were not similarly ``coached,'' Drudge says.
Although they would not speak on the record, Fox execs expressed dismay at the developments as the hit show heads into its final weeks.
Two weeks ago, Abdul was forced to deny that she was drunk or on drugs whilst judging ``American Idol.'' She attributed her odd on-air behavior to reflex sympathetic dystrophy, a rare neuropathic disorder she was diagnosed with in November that causes debilitating pain.

wonder what Constantine and Bo have taped, too...
Man! That don't look good, do it?
AI ping.
Looks like I haven't missed much by not watching "American Idol"; all I have to see are the ads for the show and I know I couldn't care less.
Hmm, this report sounds a bit more ominous than yesterday's.
I'm just tired of seeing it treated as a serious issue.
her glassy eyes tell me shes been smokin something.

"Clark is peddling a tell-all biography"
You know, it's really sad that this guy was shown to be a scum and is now getting to "write" a book, and even worse, get big free publicity for it.
If this were a man, he would be excoriated for "sexual harassment" or "casting couch" behavior.
'Corey Clark says he had sex with Paula Abdul, says Justin Guarini also dated her.
Corey Clark, the disqualified American Idol 2 contestant, says he had sex with show judge Paula Abdul. MSNBC's Jeannette Walls reports on an upcoming Globe story, which elaborates on his book proposal that we heard about earlier. The Globe says "[Abdul] told [Clark] she wanted to look out for him and be his 'special friend.' But he claims she warned him that he couldn't tell anyone or she'd make things very hard for him, cautioning, 'Don't screw me or you'll be sorry.'" Corey "reportedly is claiming that he had sex with Abdul in the guest room of her house, that she paid some of his expenses and promised to fund his career to the tune of $2 million, and that she made him vow to keep their relationship a secret," Walls reports. The Globe also says that Corey heard that Justin Guarini "bragged about having an affair with Paula," which Guarini's people deny. Earlier, Variety reported that ABC's Primetime Live was working on an "potentially explosive expose" that focused in part on "the relationship between 'Idol' judges and contestants." '

If this is true, then Scott Savol's continued presence on the show means he MUST be boinking Abdul.
Or Simon.
Which is why I get sick of the entertainment industry in general; they act as though everything in their world is the equivalent of nukes headed toward DC
You are who you boink
My bet it's a trifecta between Randy, Simon, and Scott.
When you boink upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you
You know what they say, "they go in threes".
It reads like something Michael Jackson would tell one of his little guests.
