I took some geography and geology classes in the late 80's and early 90's, and every single instructor said the same thing: we're actually cooling down and headed for another ice age. I asked every single one of them what they thought about Global Warming, which was the hot new leftwing trend back then. To a man, they said it was baloney.
I guess this shows we have so much money these days we can actually waste incredible sums...
