AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1564) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | May 2, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 05/03/2005 4:31:41 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Vice President Cheney stated yesterday that Al Qa'eda had been hurt since the 9/11 attacks, but was still actively recruiting members to perpretrate attacks on the American homeland.

The search continues for the pilots of two planes lost over Iraq. It is believed the planes collided during operations in bad weather.

In Pittsburgh yesterday, police arrested a deaf-mute man for shooting his deaf-mute sister and his deaf-mute brother-in-law for attempting to move his deaf-mute parents.

And the media did finally get around to commenting on Laura Bush's performance before the National Press Club. The headline of the op-ed piece in the NY Times went thus: LAURA BUSH TALKS DIRTY. The content of the article lived up to the billing--a total hit piece.

The leftstream media cannot buy a clue to find a clue as to how to get it. They are hopeless.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Dude, no-one is buying the global warming BS.
And it is BS.

Companies follow restriction guidelines due to MONETARY concerns.
It gets expensive to be fined a couple hundred thousand every day you are out of compliance.
It has nothing to do with being convinced of the 'rightness' of something.
Business will always go where the money is, that is the rule of thumb.
Tax a business until it is no longer profitable, and the business will leave.
(Municipalities in my area need to learn that quick!)

Put restrictions on a company and make non-compliance expensive, and they will grudgingly comply, but only because it is more expensive NOT to do so.

And, again, CHINA puts out more carbon dioxide than the US and Australia do.
Funny, no-one is pushing China to comply.
Wonder why?

Drop it off in an unmarked manila envelope in the park, next to the paper bin.
Aferwards, a man named 'Harlan' will say to you "The dog jumped twice at the moon."
You will reply "Romper stomper bomper boo."

And it appears that our new playmate, "knockoutoption" is a character out of that book.

I'm mad.

I got up early on a day I work the late shift to go to the DMV to change my address on my drivers license and registration...and I find out AFTER I get there....that I need 6 points of ID(whatever that is) so now I have to call an 800 number to get a sticker.

6 Points of ID means you must have different pieces of information or paper to prove your identify and residence.

For instance, in NYS your Social Security card ='s 2 points, and US Military ID =3 points, a utility bill -'s 1 point and so on.

Your DMV web site should have a list of what documents carry so many points.

Great op-ed on PBS. Time to kill that taxpayer leech. There's nothing you can get from them that you can't get from Nickleodian, Discovery, or A&E. They've become a liberal moneyhole that we're paying for. It's especially galling that we're paying that odious pinko Bill Moyer's salary.

I love how you argue.

You state your case in generalities, yet provide no concrete evidence of the foundation of your position.

"A proportion of the recent increase," yeah, duh. Any non-zero answer works here; even one that would be, oh, say 1x10E-6%. Easy to say, yet there is no concrete evidence.

Ford is spending 66% of its R&D budget on green technologies. Why is that? Well, maybe it's because of the morons running the state of California who buy into eclatic bunk that isn't scientifically confirmed yet. It has nothing to do with science and everything to do with economics--got to have "green" type cars to market in California--not because of the people but because of ill-informed bureaucrats.

There is no confirmation that there is, in fact, any increase in GMT (global mean temperatures). Indeed there is conflicting evidence. Weax satellites actually show the planet cooling (hmm...).

Indeed, there is annecdotal evidence to suggest the theory of global warming may need a tad of a tweak. Hurricane frequency (something I know a little about--care to spar?) hasn't changed one iota over the last several decades outside of normal fluctuation. If the planet is warming, the frequency would change (pick your model: increase heat over the tropics, more and stronger storms; increase heat over the northwesterlies or polar regions, less storms).

Nor'easters are also a predictor. If the planet is warming, then continental areas would warm faster than the oceans. There would be a noticable decrease in snow over the northeast (again, care to spar with me on this?) as the thermal gradient between the continent and the oceans is what drives winter storms in the northeast. There has actually been an increase in snowfall, on average, over the last several years. Oops.

Well, "science" tried to get around that with the thermohalene cycle. Warm the planet and the ice sheet in Greenland melts, forcing cold water into the the Atlantic halting the Gulf Stream. That dog doesn't hunt. The theory is badly flawed on several levels. First, water is most dense at 39F. Shortly after leaving the Greenland area and flowing to the NE (check surface currents in that area, that's where they're going), it will sink, returning toward the south (at a much slower pace--think about it, if the return flow was fast, it would drag the surface--as it is heavier water). The volume of water moving south would actually create a pressure vacuum in the ocean (akin to those in the air) and actually pull warm water NORTH, rather than inhibit same.

But let's assume that's not true. The notion is still a one-time affair. The Gulf Steam stops and there would be massive snows along the northeast. WRONG. If both the land and the sea temps fall, no snow. No engine to drive the snow train. But the water would heat up again as the Sun (something the theory doesn't even mention--did someone turn it off?) heats up the tropics and begins the movement of water northward once again.

So, pardon me if I yawn when folks like you say the world will come to an end because of mankinds "interference". Mankind is a part of nature; so get over it.

Is today the day Toby has his appointment to be cardioverted? Saying prayers for him.

Evidence of global warming here too....only 46 degrees.

Here in the Commonwealth we use the Chinese Menu approach to prove identity and residence.

You must submit two forms of ID. One from a "primary" list (generally includes a photo), and either one more from the "primary" list or one from the "secondary" list (which includes non-photo ID, such as SS card). Kids initial DL is interesting. Need one ID (primary) for them, but two (as above) for parent.

This article by Dr. Sallie Baliunas at Tech Central Station has some interesting charts showing a history of our climate. Interesting stuff. I wish the naysayers would read it.
