(That should say 'questioning'...I always get excited when somebody says 'Rhododendrons'.......;-))
To: Bitwhacker; Neets
Yes, there is a difference. Pomegranate is more orangey-red and fushia is a reddish purple.
I will defer on your parenthetical question. I have done no research on THAT subject.
FWIW, I thought Laura's jokes were a hoot!

I would have described Fushia as Dark Hot Pink.
Whatever, it's going to freeze hard here tonite, and I'm wondering what will be left of my garden by 9:00 am tomorrow.
To: Jemian
I thought Laura's self depreciating humor was a HOOT, too.

The sporting goods store I used to work for had an embroidery operation, which is what they moved to exclusively a few years later. Anyway, all the salesmen had embroidered polo shirts in different colors. We were required to wear the same color for each day of the week. Wednesday was always fuschia day. Next to Tuesday, which was baby blue, it was the most despised day of the week.

Always? Really??
I'm thinking around 50% of the time, myself.
