Thanks, IA.
My grandmother was born in that house.
Brother and Sister Day gives us a chance to post family photos. :)
Hope you've had a wonderful Monday.

I've been back for awhile but as usual I've been busy.
Marissa is doing fine; she fussed like crazy when I put the ointment in her eye.
Now she is watching Toy Story.
Hope you had a good day, Victoria.

Good evening, Victoria. Thanks for the music.
Isn't that image precious? When I found it on Google, I knew I had to post it. :)

Marissa is much better. Her eye is still a little red but it is probably from her rubbing it so much.
She was rewarded with extra hugs and kisses at bedtime.

Good evening, MamaBear.
Thanks for sharing your family picture with us.
My brothers and sister live very close; if any of them lived in Santa Barbara, I would be visiting at least once a month during our valley winter. :)
Hope you had a good day. Mine was busy, busy!! I registered Marissa for kindergarten and I also registered her for 3 weeks of Kinder Kamp. She wants to start Kindergarten tomorrow. :)

"is that house still standing? Just curious."
Probably not. If it is, I hope they replaced those shingles. :)
It was in Altus, Oklahoma; when I took my mother to Oklahoma a few years ago we really didn't know where to look. The records are really hard to find.
My grandmother was born in 1896; the house was probably built about 1891. The picture was taken in either 1952 or 1953.

"there are lots of new folks (like me) who have never seen it."
I'm sure that even some of the folks who have been here forever missed it. It is difficult to read the entire thread.
I enjoyed sharing my brothers and sisters; just don't tell them. :)
