Don't worry. Blair got Iraq right, but otherwise, he's off as badly left as Hitlery.

Blair will win. It would take a shift on the polls of around 8% for it to be otherwise; something like Tories 40%, Labor 32%. That won't happen.

What makes you think he is in danger of losing? His party has a lopsided advantage in their government - I don't think anyone seriously thinks there is a conservative groundswell in the UK. Labor will be losing some seats, but it isn't realistic to think that Labor has a serious chance of losing control.

In any event, Tony Blair has been good on the war on terror but in the end, he isn't really my kind of guy.

They have a parlimentary system there, the people do not elect the Prime Minister. If Labour wins a majority in Parliment, as is expected, then the party will presumably vote for Blair to serve again as PM.

I love Tony Blair, I always have and I always will, even though he's done some stuff I don't like. The biggest worry, from a conservative point of view is that he won't serve the whole term and then Gordon Brown (is that his name?) who is now chancellor of the exchequer (I guess that's like Secretary of the Treasury, but I'm really not sure) will become PM. Evidently he's a BIG leftie.

Anyway, GO TONY, and Tories, get your act together and lead England out of the swamp it's become. Why don't you all start by campaigning on the restoration of the right to self defense?

Oh yes, and an obligatory tag-line restoration upon the avowal of my admiration for Mr. Blair:

I am afraid for the worse. I know a lot of people in the UK and there are a lot of negative feelings for him. Too many people would be happy to see him go and have made their voices heard. I do hope and pray he makes it though. We need him for sure!
