An alphabetical listing of the "Bluest" and "Reddest" companies in the nation, as determined by the liberals who run "buyblue.org".

Ran across this web site in a Wal-Mart thread--posted FYI. Some of the companies I knew were liberal--others I am pleasantly surprised to see are "red".

My buying decisions WILL be affected...

Borders Bookstores are at a 50% 'blue' level, because of the lack of involvement in the 2004 election...but Barnes & Noble is 100% blue. Hmm. Maybe Amazon.com is the best choice. :)

BuyBlue.org's Rating:
(What do the ratings mean?)
Rating: Dark Red - 0 %

BuyBlue.org's Position:
Best Buy currently has a 0% BuyBlue rating due to political contributions for the 2003-2004 election cycle. Best Buy's executives contributed a little over $45K (100% of their contributions) to Republican politicians in the 2003-2004 election cycle. Best Buy has a Political Action Commitee, but it had no recorded activity during the 2003-2004 election cycle.

This is good to know due to the fact I drop a lot of money there over the years.

I always try to buy conservative books at B&N and smile big when I bring them up to the counter.
