Hmmmmm. The fact that he got custody says something about both of them.

When is the last time you heard a pop song in 3/4 time?

Body and Soul by Antia Baker (1995?) comes to mind. Also "Celebrate Me Home" by Kenny Loggins, but that was in, uh, 1979 or something.

I am a fan of Anthony's. He has a pure voice.

I like Scott as well. When Scott sings, his puts his life experiences, especially the pain into his songs.

He is the only one who is emotionally connected to the songs that he sings and I really respond to that.

I also like Anthony and in my opinion, he is the second best singer there. First is Carrie.

Why don't you get silent-jonny to put you on the ping list for the live thread. It's alot of fun.

Scott is still around because -- for all his weaknesses -- he is edgier and sings from the heart.

Exactly. That's why I like Scott.

Scott's baby is half black. He grew up in the hood apparently. That is not a racial slam.

I mean the hip-hop urban culture sort of thing.

The charge was disorderly conduct. 4 years ago.

Scott isn't half black, but he has a son that is half black.

He does not. Good grief, I don't understand some of the people here.

Apparently some of you can't accept someone who isn't handsome.

And what would that be?

Any of the Nashville Stars Finalists could have won American Idol.

The less the number of contestants....the longer they sing the song. Watch him sing "My Funny Valentine" too----excellent. This kid is going places.

"He was hyper-critical and correct, like all engineers"

Now now......your hypothesis is now disproved.....I'm an engineer by degree and decree and can state unequivocally that you are mistaken that all engineers are as you describe your father. Some even......*gasp* have a sense of humor!

I enjoyed your comments..Are you on our AI thread ping list? We have a lot of fun watching the show..

LOL, no I'm not, and I probably shouldn't be; I don't want to ruin anyone's fun! LOL

I called AI "tripe", "insulting to the intelligence" and "fluff TV" but I'm sure others say the same things about my favorite TV shows Star Trek, Stargage SG-1 and Battlestar Galactica. I don't take such comments personally though, and even laugh right along with such people, because in the end they are "just TV shows". It's like my mom always says, "That's why there's vanilla and chocolate: Different things for different people".

I'm just amazed that some people apparently took my opinions so personally. LOL (note, I said "apparently", because online, it's pretty tough to guage someone's emotional state; sure seemed like it though)
