VANITY: How often do you use the "Report Abuse" button?

I used it twice today...why do I feel like a "snitch"?

Most times I use it, like today, its for language.

Am I wasting the Mods time or what?

I never expect a response from the Mod or expect what I report on to be acted upon...I use it simply as a, "Hey I saw this and maybe you should know about it" kinda tool.

I usually find myself pressing the abuse button for people who post vanities :o)

I generally use it for stupid vanities like this [clicking abuse button] ;-)

 

Seriesly, I don't use it much, but there is a line, personal attacks usually, and when someone is a habitual line stepper, I'll hit it.  As I was just saying to a friend: Somehow, when the mods come in and delete an offensive post, it seems to verify the notion that "I knew that guy was the dovche bag and not me."

I have never used it. Not on this site or any of the other sites I am on. When I was a mod on DU I was alerted dozens of times a day. 90% of the alerts were some DUmmie suspecting another DUmmie of being a Freeper.

I use it from time to time, but only to request the PTB to change some flagrant mistake which I made in the headline or attribution.

I only use it when there is excessive personal attacks going on. You know, the ones that miss the argument, and create confusion by stiring up trouble. Pinging friends to pile on with them.

I see it more often when I am lucking than when I am actually posting.

Only had to do it once. So far.
