While I agree with a lot of your sentiments, aren't you being a little premature.
That the Democrats even want to compromise means we must have the votes.

Not that we conservatives seem to matter too much to them, anyways.

That the Democrats even want to compromise means we must have the votes. And despite having the votes, incredibly, the Repubs will compromise. In return for giving the Dems what they want (no exercise of the Constitutional Option), the Repubs will get the candidate the Dems want. That's it, snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
When will the Repubs realize they ARE THE MAJORITY?

Also, IMO, they want this "compromise" now before Supreme Court nominations are made.
They will give up a few Circuit Court nominees, which they really didn't have a problem with in the first place, to get a deal on no future enacting of the "Nuclear Option" for Supreme Court nominees.

i can only mean then, that having the votes, we don't want to confirm those other FIVE 'conservative judges' either.

Premature??
When you have the White House, Senate and House of Reps and STILL cannot get your agenda done, what more can you possibly ask for?
What is the point of voting against the Dems if they get their way anyhow?
