Thanks. I wonder if he had any comments as to the potential "macro" effects on the economy (ergo his model and how it signals the market(s) direction) should the GM situation actually deteriorate further even to the point of GM going Chapter 11.

I didn't hear any economical predictions. The point he was making is that American car manufactures (especially GM) must get their act together with respect to fuel mileage so they can compete with the Japanese. He thinks this is as big a problem as the money sucking union problem. What do you think a GM collapse would do to the market? I have a hard time understanding economics which is why I listen to his show.
