"Rotton is aptly named."I think you are on to something. Let me take it a step farther. She was with her brother because her husband is Rotton?

Only thing missing is a train whistle.

We had a couple, for whom my daughter babysat, that lived in a $300,000 house, who were brother and sister, with a kid, living as man and wife (she always thought they were too bizarrely infatuated with their kid, BTW).
We found out when we checked the registered sex-offenders list for their neighborhood ( Registry Entry - Brother ) and then the usual gossip channels. No one knows who has the kid.

Too bad they were in Alabama. If they were in Vermont, Connecticut or Massachusetts, they'd be able to argue they should be married. Discrimination, donchaknow?

This story has it all. Rednecs A trailer Rednecks drinking Redneck siblings knocking boots Redneck siblings knocking boots even after an officer tells them to stop A cancer diagnosis This is, quite possibly, the greatest story of all time. There's a Grammy winner CW song in those words somewhere.............

Rotton made a court appearance on Thursday, and she appeared to not understand the charges leveled against her. "Let me explain it to you," Judge Cahill told the woman. "You're charged with having sex with your brother. That's what you're charged with in the vernacular." The lawyer for Howze said he suffers from seizures and does not remember what happened.
Your Honor we wasn't in no vernacular - we was in a 1961 8 x 56 trailer house.

Oh dear. Perfect country song? They're twins!

"This story has it all."
Not really, no trains, no pickup trucks, or at least one pit bull. It could also been enhanced had one of the officers been injured triping over a refrigerator or other appliance on the front porch.

Judge Cahill to Ms. Rotton: "You're charged with having sex with your brother. That's what you're charged with in the vernacular."

Reflecting, you missed one (or two) other points:
Alabama Brother, Sister Arrested for Incest Mother Turned-In Siblings After Allegedly Catching Them Having Sex
TRAFFORD, Ala. (April 20) - A brother and sister were arrested on felony incest charges after the man's wife called sheriff's deputies
This family tree is twisted beyond comprehension. Pinging Quantum Physics experts...

He tied me up and got on - then when I started having the seizure he cut me loose.
There's an old joke in there somewhere.

Most excellent point for all hypocrites to ponder. "A Law" doesn't make something right or wrong, but merely places a stamp of approval on many things that ought not to be.
