In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the “word of the day”; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today.

Someone once noted that you haven't been dismissed thoroughly until your cat ignores you.

I find it sinister that the Japanese have apologized to the Chinese for WW2 atrocities. In related news, the JFK was NOT decomissioned, the idea being that Japan will not allow nuclear vessels into their harbors and we may find it handy to send an air craft carier there in the not too distant future. Sinister indeed.
I'm impressed. I'll have to try my hand at some blues this weekend...right now the only thing running through my brain is the $52.00 Zithromax bill for my asthmatic son who contracted bronchitis. His snot went from yellow to green to red. No blues though.
Pollen must be driving him nuts.

What a bummer! Spring weather is SO unpredictable.
For 2 hours this afternoon, I observed my cat. That crazy alien watches soaps. I was watching Days, and she got in CG's chair and watched the entire show INTENTLY! During commercials, she would doze or look out the window, then when the show came back on she would stare at the screen. After that show, I ran to the store, but before I left, I switched over to General Hospital. When I got back she was still sitting there transfixed. Strange cat!
Happens all the time.
