A Homes Heart
The cabin grew small when the children arrived, But the happiness fit, and the family thrived. With a little more room when they added a part, That surrounded the fireplace that is a homes heart.
With the breakfast in morning and smiles with the feed, They scatter to fetch in the things that they need, So when the day ends and they gather once more, Theyll be sharing some things you cant buy at a store.
Therell be laughter and stories, and some kids to be kissed, And a song and a prayer, and some items I missed. When the fire goes out, theres a sadness you sense, That four walls without love aint much more than a fence.
