Hey, it's no different than what they did last time when Fantasia was elected the winner. THAT was a complete joke.

When you let the people vote, sometimes you get unpredictable results.

Is it possible to make a mockery out of a joke?

For the time being, the "Vote For The Worst" crew has thrown their support behind contestant Scott Savol,

I have been wondering how America could be so idiotic as to continue to vote for that surly, unattractive, even-less-than-mediocre "singer." He is truly a wretched performer. If they are voting for the worst, they've picked the right one.

Despite Fatboy's voting block, I think Constantine has a good shot at winning. Did you hear the squeals from the audience when he finished his song? I think his voting block is every 13-year-old girl in the country!

Carrie is very talented and some of her upper notes have real power and passion, but she is always looks slightly worried as she sings, and she has no idea how to move on stage. Her lack of presentation skills diminish her power to win, IMHO.

I find it hard to believe enough of the voters are doing this to make the difference as pronounced as it seems to be.

Instead, I think it is simply the fact that most people have no ear for talent.

From a relatively objective point of view, two excellent singers, Nadia Turner and Anwar Robinson, have been sent home

Nadia acted like a diva - not a quality a lot of voters want in a contestant in such a forum. Anwar screwed up big-time in his choice of song last time around - if you're gonna sing a Philip Bailey part, you'd better be able to hit the high notes, and he didn't go for them at all - just like Bo put himself in jeopardy with a lame-assed rendition of Free Bird last week because he doesn't have the lung power to carry a ballad.

A man has to know his limitations, after all...

The whole show is a crock. The only time it's worth watching is the beggining of the season, when the idiots who's buddies have set them up are on. Here is what happens: "Yo dog, you can sing boy. You need to go on that American Idol show.......... hehehe this is gonna be funny, he sucks.........." After these losers are gone the entertainment value is gone.

This show is not about finding the next big superstar. Your favorite contestant probably won't win, and will probably get a record contract anyway if they're good enough.

That's what I say. The one thing that the show is great at is bringing new talent to the public's attention and then letting the public decide if they like it or not. Clay Aiken proved you don't have to win in order to be a winner. While Ruben and Fantasia have proved the opposite, that winning doesn't guarantee success.

Those with the right mix of talent, creativity and business sense will rise long after the show is over. The "winner" doesn't matter.

Fantasia won the competition and her record sales are dismal because 19 Entertainment barely even promotes her. What a great "prize."

While Fantasia's CD didn't reach #1, it has gone platinum. Meanwhile, the latest CD from the vaunted British teen Joss Stone has not as yet -- it's only reached gold status.

What does the writer want from Fantasia?
