Rush is reporting this morning that the confirmation vote is staged for a confrontation in the Senate Judiciary Committee. But, Senatopr Santorum is attempting, covertly, to delay the vote again, bowing to so-called internal P.O. polling data.
Hello!... Hello?!
It is getting to be more and more difficult.
Count me as shocked that politicians are behaving the way politicians always have and always will.
Kind of like the piece posted earlier today from Newt's website. The longer the GOP maintains their power (as I paraphrase), the more entrenched they become in maintaining that power, to the unfortunate exclusion of the things that brought them to power in the first place.

Someone give this guy a gun. He may as well just shoot himself and get it overwith.
what's the source..could it be disinformation?
Pubbies are just stupid. This one is so easy. Push the rule change then resurrect some old legislation that is unrelated to judges but has been successfully filibustered by the Dems even though it would have passed the full Senate. See just how quickly Sheets Byrd hits the floor again talking about his dog Billie. It puts the Dems in a lose - lose position. Either they don't filibuster and the legislation passes or they do and prove themselves liars once again.
Rush did offer a discaimer in that regard, saying the information might be a strategic 'rumor,' hence my resistance to condemn... just yet.
It could also be a Dem plant..
but the irony is by acting like wusses they are more likely to lose power......

Hello?..He-Hello?!!!
Santorum is losing it. If he's going to go down, he might as well go down fighting. Here is another nutty idea he's had, preventing the national weather service from providing free information.

Senator Santorum is calling for a delay in the use of the "nuclear option" to end the Democratic filibuster of Bush's appellate nominees.
