It's not the most efficient way, mind you, but it's something!

I'd like to be debt free by July. ;-)
Frodo's gettin' snippy with Sam.
I'll let them fight it out. I'm going to bed.
g'nite.
Oh - well, you don't need cash for that... write them all checks :~D
I probably could. Almost started skipping when it started hailing. Haven't been out and about in a good hailstorm since I worked for the Scouts. Where were ya in that pic? Looks very Rockies. All of my grinnin-on-the-summit pics are at my Mom's house in AZ... or I'd post a few. :)
Get's ya' right with the world, doesn't it.
hadda long weekend...
yesterday was local ministry at the church... took the "utes" to pick up trash along side of the roads... outta 'bout a dozen, 4 showed...
after lunch, we took them paintballing, 3 utes, 4 men, 4 hours... we hadda great time... lets just say, I ain't lost my edge... I racked up by far the highest body count... one of the men, Steve, is a forester with the MDC, great guy... he was my arch nemisis...
we chose teams every time, he was always on the other team, and that was good... the guy who runs the paintball place is a strong Christian, and does most of his business with church groups... a real quality set up I must say... any the owner told us after watching a little while he noticed a trend... that whichever team killed me or Steve first, won... (I only died three times in over a dozen games)...
more than once I killed everyone on the other team single-handed... btw, this is the first time I been paint ballin'...
'nuff about me... everyone hadda great time...
when we were done, we headed out tuh theRidge fer a cookout and camping... a great end to a great day...
tomorrow, back to the grind...
like nuthin' else...
It can hurt to get hit by them paintballs!
Paint balling is a really good time.
Might want to see it first yourself...
That was the Wind River Mountains. The closest town is Riverton, WY.
That picture was taken in 1997. We came out of the hills the next day to learn Princess Di had died during the night. The next year, we went back again, a little further Norht. Nine days on the trail, and we come back to hear all about some girl named after a sex act speaking to a grand jury.
I'd like to be this year. ;~D
The no shows are gonna be mighty upset they missed all that fun. Serves 'em right. Heh heh heh
I got hit three times (once was friendly fire) within a six inch area on the inside of muh right thigh, mebbe 6" from muh hydraulics... smarted, but not much bruising... the other hit was just below the solar plexus... no marks...
I felt bad cuz I shot one ute at 15'... he surprised me, and by sheer reflex I turned and shot three times before he could get a shot off... first one caught him in the throat, the second grazed his side, the third hit his left thigh... I apologized, but he understood the concept of survival reflex... he was okay... the thigh hit bled, but he is a tough kid... who admitted tuh bein' "out to get" me... he got it all right...
you think that a 9 and 7 year old don't need tuh see it?...
specially since they got to paint ball fer free...

I know I said I'd keep in touch, but I have been moving around a lot. I was asked/told to volunteer to help train Iraqi national guard troops. I was given 23 troops to assist me in this task. We were to train up the [redacted] Iraqi national guard battalion. Well like most things in the military its hurry up and wait. So so since the last time I emailed you we have been doing everything except train troops. Lots of patrols, escort missions, prisoner transfer and release. We have finally ended up at a small FOB in the middle of Baghdad with a trained ING BN. They are the [redacted] Defenders of Baghdad, or at least thats who they were. They are the [redacted] Iraqi Army now.
Anyway I would like to find out how I can arange some care packages for these troops from your organization. I have 3 officers 5 NCO's and 15 ENLISTED troops. Also I gave away the Knife's you sent me to a deserving specialist. Who at the time needed them more then I did because of were he was headed. His platoons new sector is all urban, lots of close in combat and house to house street fighting. I would like to know if I can get some blades for the troops I have here with me. I have 1 medic, 1 artillary officer, 1 scout and the rest are infantry. Any assistance would be much apressiated. I have also added a few pictures of the troops .
Thank you for everything your troop support group has done for my guys here, hope to hear froim you soon.
