I was on the "Day in the Life" ping list forever, til one day I posted that I didn't think profanity should be allowed on the thread.

You should have seen the beating I took from the old-timers there who were defending their own. The argument quickly escalated.

Next thing I did was ask to be removed from the ping list, and I haven't given it a thought, or a look, since then.
