Oh my gosh! We have a new Pope who isn't going to write a new Bible to fit the PC crowd! He's not going to look to "international sources" to pass new laws that change the Holy Word.

Who woulda thunk it?

a man whose record has been one of unrelenting, venemous hatred for gay people

I'm no fan of Ratzinger, or of Catholic doctrines on any sexual matters. But Ratzinger basically didn't do squat about the hordes of child-molesting U.S priests (or their bishop and archbishop enablers), most of whom were molesting boys, not girls. Some "unrelenting hatred" from Vatican officials, for that particular subset of gay people is long overdue -- but I'm not holding my breath for Ratzinger to unleash it.
