Of course I disagree. Everyone knows that the only way his papacy would be short is if he died. That is clearly what the poster meant.
I think you probably are correct in the poster's intentions, but I wouldn't be so sure they know how a papacy ends (or much else about Catholicism). At times, their ignorance of the church seems equal to their disdain for it. It truly wouldn't surprise me to see threads about how "progressives" should "impeach" the Pope for violating the Constitution or something.
