Close....."God be thanked for the Panzerpope" (as I understand it, the Holy Father was called "der Panzerkardinal" by his German admirers due to his resolute adherance to Church teaching, and his defense of the Church against those who would harm it). It's kind of cool for me at least to be able to understand the Holy Father in his native language for a change.....
I bet it is, and he has a good command of English too.
I'm positively thrilled with his election, and I have
promised myself to pray for him every night. I had hoped
to be able to love our new Pope, and of course now I already do!
