Torre would LOVE to get fired..He'd still be paid the $20 milllor so due him on his contract, and he'd be a hugle sympathetic figure in NY, and he wouldnt have to deal with idiots like Steinbrenner anymore..

"King" George Steinbrenner is absolutely livid about the Yankees being in last place with only 150 more games to go while he is paying a whopping $200 million in salaries.
Rigth the Yankees are in a real corner. Last place with only a fraction (150/162) of the season to go. We Yankee fans are DOOMED!
