"King" George Steinbrenner is absolutely livid about the Yankees being in last place with only 150 more games to go while he is paying a whopping $200 million in salaries.
Someone needs to put a live webcam on the roof of Yankee Stadium so anxious fans and relatives of manager Joe Torre will see if any "white smoke" appears. Stay tuned, sports fans.

Another game, another deep hole to climb out of, and another debacle. Wright says he's hurt (as though that explains a 10.00 ERA and giving up nearly 2 hits per inning).
Now if Wright hadn't gotten "hurt," I'd have predicted KB lasting one more start before Steinbrenner jettisoned his worthless carcass.
Reliever Rodriguez got lit up, as did the entire pen. Again.
This team can't hit, and can't pitch. Feast or famine. You may be right -- THIS may be the year the wheels fall off.
