No, she lost it because she had the audacity to ask the underpaying Disney for more money. Granted, she was being well-paid considering her age and experience (in fact, considering MY age and experience, she was being exceptionally well paid) but, Disney, true to form, chose to bail rather than negotiate.

Hilary, however, rather than see her career ended early, has done an exceptional job of marketing her talents and is doing quite well in her post-Disney gigs.
