How about a link? It's not Santorum's job to defend Delay, and it's not a good idea for us to help the spin provided by hostile questioners.

I thank you for your candor and good sense. I too am tired of voting just because there is an R or a D next to the name. I think, first of all, those we send back should be men of good moral standards. Second, we the people have the Right to expect them to do what is right, even though they may be blackmailed by the opposition. If a man, when faced with blackmail, will just not give the blackmailer the nod of his head and do what is right, and damn the consequences then he may lose his next election but he won't lose his soul.
