Remote viewing expert Major Ed Dames believes he has found the location of a potentially deadly geophysical event. According to Dames, there is a very high likelihood that Mt. Tarawera (38.22 S / 176.5 E), on New Zealand's central North Island, will undergo an extremely violent eruption during November 2005.

I don't think there's such a thing as a "remote viewing expert". What they count on is that nobody follows up to show that they're wrong nearly 100% of the time.

Is there any credibility with remote viewing? Not much. It's amusing, though...

I'd like to see this guy's previous predictions of viewing record. There's a big prize available for anyone who can demonstrate psychic abilities. Has gone unclaimed for a decade or so.

Then again for some who claim they have that gift, the big prize would be small compared to the gift.

remote viewers are, at their very best, nitwits.
prophets, psychics and mystics are merely dictators without power. your belief in their nonsense is their only power.
every dictator is a mystic, every mystic is a potential dictator... (ayn owns that quote, though it is not exact).

,,, Mt Tarawera? Maybe, maybe not. A major fault runs thru the centre of Wellington city, up thru the Island where Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngaurahoe and Mt Tarawera are located and out to White Island. I'm no volcanologist but I suspect any buildup on White Island is worth watching for.
Later this year or early 2006, depending on the rainfall this winter we're expecting a significant lahar from Mt Ruapehu... that's a certainty.

should have added this to last note, sorry...
i gots a hardon for mystics in general... the fembot (wifeypoo) is currently infatuated with that carnivalbarker john edwards.
talk about sideshow freaks. i'd like to get at the fembots teachers, just to have the opportunity to slap them long side the head.
in any case, here and now i predict a massive volcanic eruption (and a few earthquakes, typhoons and hurricanes) some time in our immediate future; cant be sure where or when they will occur (my crystal is cloudy), but they will be massive... and i can state with all confidence that if you just wait a while i will be proven correct.
when i am proven correct (assuredly), will i become lord ruler, or will i remain just another swingingdick with a bad attitude.

the ether is a limited universe, i will state it only once in this realm... i olny use caps in reference to one person, the rest (people, countries and misc.) do not deserve the effort.
tis all i have to distinguish myself, and sadly no one (apparently) thought of it first.
years back i used to post in reverse, made it a hassle for viewers, and i still remember the first guy who learned to read my rants in the mirror. he took the time to tell me off line that i "sucked-ass".
cant appoligize, cant care, whutitizizwhutitiz.
