I hope you had a super Saturday.

I've been busy today. Marissa insisted that I spend some time with her. First, she wanted me to read a story to her; then she wanted to play in the front yard so she could get away from our dogs.

I do not let her go in the front unless someone is with her. Guess who had to sit out in the cold today. :)

Our hi temp today was 61. Brrrr

They are predicting a high tomorrow of 76. I sure hope they are right!!!

We had a high of 61 in Fresno today and it felt more like 51. We should have higher temps tomorrow.

Hit some golf balls, did you? Today we celebrated Astronauts Day; tomorrow we will be celebrating Siblings Day and Golfers Day. I will see if I can find a couple of Golf cartoons for tomorrow. :)

What an awful day that was for all of us.

You also have some great memories from your days in Houston.

My memories of space exploration are all from TV images. The highs and the lows were there for us all to experience.

Actually, the robin developed this coloration as an attractant for one of its primary food sources, the "Screaming Bull" earthworm.

These large, and very territorial annelids, grew very agitated over the sight of anything red, and would come slithering aggressively out of their burrows at any presentation of the color.

The effectiveness of this color scheme can be shown by the fact that this particular earthworm species is now extinct.


Of course, I could be wrong.
