FReepmail, dear. Nothing major, but FYEO... ;^)
Watching the History Channel's reenactment of the hijacking and murder the Islamofacsists committed on 9-11. I'm getting mad all over again....
We've already send a couple dozen to Stryker brigade at Mosul and have over 100 more on order.
Anyone interested in helping out or if you know a soldier who could use one, check out our thread:
Thank you for the clarification.
No problem. I loved that show. ;^)
Labs are such sweet creatures. We had a blonde lab, her name was Uschi. If she didn't know anyone when they came to the ranch, they didn't get out of the vehicle. She didn't do anything, she'd just sit there and "smile", she'd show her front teeth, it was the silliest thing I'd ever seen. She didn't growl, and didn't snarl, just showed those front teeth.
I didn't know you were moving Dog. Happy to hear Sadie is settling in. Poor little thing. Pets do get confused when their living quarters are moved. My kitties, wouldn't leave the bed until it was packed, then they'd move to the couch, and finally end up in my suitcase, which was near their carrying case. When I put their blankets and toys in the case, they knew it was that time again. They were used to travelling though, cause in Europe they travelled with me. They were leash trained.
I'd switch off the TV, because I'm about to blow a fuse, but I remind myself that we should never forget 9-11. They're replaying actual control tower recordings. I want to nuke some Islamofascists!
You have both annunciated core sentiments what I only wish I could have articulated tonight. THANK YOU!
Did your Blonde Lab allow visitors to get out of the car?
We had a big collie who would approach visitors cars and put her paws up on the car and look in and bark at them. People would sit in the driveway and honk the horn until we came out and lead the dog away.
As long as the children weren't outside, she was as gentle as a lamb. If the kids were out playing, she was their greatest protector.
When #3 was a baby, a neighbor stopped by to help dig up some plant divisions I'd promised her. I set #3 on a blanket in an Infantseat. The dog sat on the blanket beside the baby and kept a front leg stretched across the top of the Infantseat. We could never determine whether the dog thought the baby might jump out of the seat, or perhaps that the neighbor had visions of snatching the baby.
She was a great companion to our kids. When #1 wandered off one day as a 3 y.o. she went with him. When we'd call him she'd bark, but she wouldn't leave him.
got it and responded
sorry about not seeing it before ..

I had a neighbor who had flesh eating bacteria. He almost died from it, almost lost a leg. It was a true miracle. Unfortunately, he flipped the other way. He lost his testimony of Jesus Christ, left his wife and children, and now lives an atheist decadent lifestyle. He still lives physically, but has lost his soul. Every time I hear about flesh eating bacteria, I think of him.
UG, I checked out the Daybreak web site. Beautiful homes and the set up looks wonderful.
Hope you were able to check out the model homes.
Utah Girl's dream house.
I've always wanted to renovate an older home. But after looking around for several years, I have come to realize that I don't have the money, the time, the skills, or the help. But I can buy a house that has the look I want on the outside and new on the inside. I do plan on all wood floors, I have experience putting them in, my dad is very experienced with them. Anyway, that is my dream house.
GOOD MORNING! D put wooden floors in their new house, a two story job. Someone drops something upstairs and it sounds like a shotgun went off throughout the entire house. I really would rather have carpet.
You gonna watch the 'Royal Wedding' this morning? Prince Charles, the first true 'blue blood redneck' in history.
That's incredible. You'd think he would have gone the other way.
The lady I know who had it is convinced she was healed thru the power of prayer. Her Drs agree.
I don't get to watch the Royal Wedding due to a meeting to attend this morning. I'm watching Mike Jerett's Special on the Goofy Royals on FNC now.
The photo of your dream home is lovely. Would a home that size be practical for you?
I'm guessing it has 3 bedrooms upstairs and one down.
I hope your dreams come true! Keep us posted.
