I know you all could care less about what I have to say, but Pat, Ms. Gaddy's mother did not have her house bought for her. As a matter of fact, Pat raised her three children by herself, because the father wasn't around. Ms. Magouirk and Pat are very close and have been since she married Ms. Magouirks' son well over 30+ years ago. Pat worked 2 jobs practically all of her life and now she is over 60 herself and still working full time. Pat has been very worried about her daughters own health, due to the stress. To set the record straight:

Pat was married to Mae's son, they had three children. One being Beth and a set of twins.

Please make sure that if you post something in a nature like this that you have information that is deemed reliable. Once again, before anyone jumps my case, I just wanted people to know that yes, even Beth's mom has been friends with Mae and taken care of her along with her children, because Mae is like a mother to her. I was really hoping SOME PEOPLE wouldn't try to bring in the
entire family into this, but I guess the childish part did. So just for future reference when you are dogging out Ms. Gaddy and her family, yes they had four people plus spouses, caring for her to keep her in the place where she wanted to be rather than living with them, so she could live at home.

IF the La Grange family of Mrs. Mae Magouirk, had NOT put her in a Hospice to die, I would feel differently.

IF the La Grange family of Mrs. Mae Magouirk had respected her living will, which specifically said that she wanted food and hydration, I would feel differently.

When Mrs. Mae Magouirk was unable to eat on her own, IF the La Grange family had provided nourishment and hydration through a feeding tube, I would feel differently.

The fact is, the La Grange family of Mrs. Mae Magouirk, decided on their own without any Medical Power of Attorney to cease medical, life prolonging treatment (a Hospice by LAW cannot provide life prolonging care,) and that it was time for Mrs. Mae Magouirk to "Meet Jesus."

If everything you have written is true concerning Mrs. Magouirk's years of care being provided by her La Grange family I salute them and praise them for everything they did up until the time they unilaterally decided to cease life prolonging treatment for their kin. Up until that point, my hat's off to them, they did what millions of people all over the world do, and that is take care of our sick and ederly.

Living Will = Feed Me,

Unilateral decision to not provide nourishment through a feeding tube is NOT commendable. Also a bit spitefull that the La Grange family denied the sister and brother and nephew visitation and inclusion in medical decisions.

Mrs. Mae Magouirk is not chattel, and having Power of Attorney does not give anyone the right to deny food and hydration to anyone, even if given through a feeding tube. Particularly agrevious becasue it was in contradiction to her living will.

If the Good Lord calls Mrs. Mae Magouirk home do to a heart problem that resisted treatment, then that was her time to go. But until that time, do the words, "Feed my sheep" have any meaning to you?

well now, since you addressed me in particular rather than included in the "All" - let me just say - I have never said a word - yea or nay - on whether or not Mae bought Pat's house for her - it's not germane.

As for the rest, expat, in post #2655 laid it out pretty good - on the evidence, it' s pretty clear there were lies and actions that nearly cost Mae her life and surely set Mae's treatment and recovery back dangerously - and other actions that could certainly be deemed reprehensible.

It's a miracle she has made it thru' that horrendous attempt to send her "home to Jesus" - If you can believe there was any legal or moral right to make that decision for another human being, then God help you - for we get to reap what we have sown, most particularly when we invoke the Name of Jesus is doing so.

LaGrange Resident talks a lot about money, bills, and Beth Gaddy’s charms.

Resident barely mentions Mae Magouirk’s health and her current robust condition.

Resident does not specify how the charming Mrs. Gaddy obtained guardianship over Mae, or how/why Gaddy admitted Mae to hospice, or why Judge Boyd recused himself.

Resident is deeply, deeply confused about the nature/purpose of a hospice facility -- did Resident confuse the concept of hospice with hospitality suite?

Resident does not mention that while in hospice, Mae was drugged into a state where eating on a voluntary basis became impossible, providing her “loving” relatives with convenient cover for their evil deeds.

Resident seems obsessed with Ken Mullinax, perhaps because he thwarted the plan to send Mae home to Jesus. That Ken, what an inconsiderate party pooper!

Resident seems appalled that most of us here do not view Beth Gaddy as a “caring, loving family member.” For this disconnect with reality there is no known cure.

Resident has impressive telepathic abilities, stating with certainty that ‘Mae is ready to go home... because she misses her husband dearly. ‘ Resident ought to apply this talent to the futures market and leave the elderly alone.

Resident mentions the elusive Pat. Hmmmmm. Resident informs us that Pat is a thriving 60-something woman still working full time. Pat is said to be concerned about the health of her 36 year old daughter Beth, presumably in excellent health. Yet no mention of Pat’s concern for ‘her very close friend’ Mae, the 81 year old woman who nearly died just a week ago. I’d like to know more about Pat’s involvement. Is there a gene pattern emerging here?

Resident is forgiven for grammatical and spelling errors. But Resident is not excused for willful ignorance, illogical defense of the indefensible, and extreme prejudice.
