That is so true!! Wow, you have been very blessed!!! Good for you. I knew for a certainty that there was a reason God put me here when my daughter was born. She is such an incredible child. She makes me laugh. And teaches me compassion and tranquility in the simple things. Look at my tag, she sprung that one on me this morning while we were all cuddled up in bed.
Daughter's ARE special. When I was growing up, I always 'planned' on having a boy and then a girl.
After I had 2 boys, I said to myself: "Okay then, I'll have 2 boys and a girl"
This went on until I had 4 boys :O)
So I quit - until I was 39 and my youngest boy was 14, oldest 20. I thought: "If I don't try one more time, and now, I'll never have a daughter." So I gambled and got pregnant. I was huge! much larger than ever before. I kept remembering: "My mother was a twin. My husbands family had twins. The older you are, the more likely to have twins. Oh boy, here I come with twin boys."
But - it was a girl! And she is the apple of our eye. (She;s now 30 and married to a Navy pilot and they have THREE little girls.)
And my four sons - I'm sure glad I had every one of them. They are the best sons a mother could ever have.
