The whole idea of "proof of facts" seems to be rather elusive for some reason. For example, there is not absolute proof or it isn't a fact that she was bulimic.

Doctors have offered "educated opinions" about the bulimia based on the facts that were present.....and it is a fact that that they did so.

Similarly, is it a fact she was PVS? The various scans, responses to stimulus etc. add up to what some doctors define as a state of PVS. Other doctors say there isn't enough factors to conclude such. Accordingly the courts make a judgment as to who they believe and render accordingly.

What makes it even more difficult to grasp the nature of what's going on is the peculiarity of the info that is available.

People offer remarks without any attribution to the source or a link to a document.

Some have offered "official affidavits" and people take the words as gospel in the absence of any corroborating info.

There seems to be a "selective leak" of information. For example, if her med records were sealed, how did the bone scan come to the public when clearly stamped confidential patient info? How did her supposed brain scans come to the public....there are no markings to indicate they are actually hers?

Sometimes passionate people believing in the most noble of causes actually do more harm than good. This seems to be the case here on several levels IMHO.
