Oh how sad, Poor little thing. I'm sure the compassionte thing to do would be to end his misery and put him down like a dog. Oh yes, that is wht our dear friends in Florida believe. I just hope they don't get their hands on this poor little baby.
They can build him a jaw couldn't they?
There is a man at my work who is excelling in his job that was born without one arm and has very deformed short fingers on the other hand. He's married with two children and has a great life.
When a society starts throwing away that which we consider "imperfect", then that society will not last for 50 years.
Bump for life
In Florida, no less :(
I may be deceived, and Florida may be a dangerous place with cowboy judges, but someone is blowing this out of proportion.
Come now, I think this talk of euthanasia is a bit premature. If he is not severely mentally disabled to the point of being nonresponsive, there's no precedent for euthanasia at this point for a physical deformity. Let's cut the hyperbole and just deal with the truth?
Anyway, I forwarded this to my family and friends.

One of my favorite people in the not so mainstream news to read about...

OK, I'll take him/her, but first you all have to find me a suitable wife, willing to help me out. ;)
I'm not picky... a reasonably attractive, rabid freedom loving constitutionalist is fine, must be able to put up with my smoking. hehehe
I don't know anyone, but I'll be praying for some very special people for this very special baby.
It COULD happen........
You really put Free Republic on the spot with this one.
200k members, many of which claim to be pro life... if someone doesn't step up to adopt this baby, it kinda gives the pro death people a chance to call us hypocrites, and they;d be right, I think.
I said to myself, I am pro life, and this baby has worth to me, but I can't do it. I have enough trouble as it is being a single parent sharing custody of a healthy 11 year old. How would I work AND take care of an infant? I just can't do it.
But I feel like a danged hypocrite, ya know that?
Bumpin' #14!!!!!
Oh no, not Florida again.
Would Medicaid cover the baby's medical expenses?
