It's really sad. I honestly believe that if these people knew one another, in real life, they would never say some of the things I've seen posted on the threads. People sometimes forget that words mean things and not everyone has thick skin.

Funny to see these comments now. Over the past few weeks, FreeRepublic has started to feel like a new site... one that is hardly worth the visit. It felt like I was in bizarro FreeRepublic. I felt like I had been deceived all these years. I guess I am kind of glad that other people felt the same way.

Sorry to see all the good posters go. I am sure there will be lots more following your lead.
