GOD.BLESS AMERICA
God bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her,
And guide her,
Thru the night with a light from above.
.
From the mountains,
To the prairies,
To the oceans white with foam.
God bless America,
My home, sweet, home,
.
God bless america,
My home, sweet, home.

I like Little Egypt...
and how about "Green Door"
which I think might be the first doper song,
before dope was popular...
Midnite, one more night without sleeping...
Then there's "How Much is that Doggie in the Window?"
LOL.
Was NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Battle Hymn of the Republic --- love it.
Also Amazing Grace.
I always thought that should be our national anthem
I aim to please. :-)
God Bless
the U.S.A.

If tomorrow all the things were gone Id worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
Id thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they cant take that away.
And Im proud to be an American where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And Id gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea,
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well, theres pride in every American heart,
and its time to stand and say:
Im proud to be an American where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And Id gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
His name is Jesus.
The itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-yellow-polka-dot-bilini? LOL.
Oh, those were the days. Wish I could relive 'em.
If Green Door predates anything the Beatles came out in the 1960's it was the first doper song. LOL
You just don't "get it" at all.
OH YES!
I love that too.
Thanks.
I bow to you; you win!
Im just tryin to be a father, raise a daughter and a son
Be a lover to their mother, everythin to everyone
Up and at em bright and early, Im all business in my suit
Yeah Im dressed up for success, from my head down to my boots
I dont do it for money, theres bills I that I cant pay
I dont do it for the glory, I just do it anyway
Providing for our futures, my responsibility
Yeah Im real good under pressure, being all that I can be
And I cant call in sick on Mondays when the weekends been too strong
I just work straight through the holidays, and sometimes all night long
You can bet that I stand ready, when the wolf growls at the door
Hey Im solid, hey Im steady, hey Im true down to the core.
And I will always do my duty no matter what the price
Ive counted up the cost, I know the sacrifice
Oh and I dont want to die for you, but if dyins asked of me
Ill bear that cross with honor, cause freedom dont come free.
Im an American Soldier an American
Beside my brothers and my sisters, I will proudly take a stand
When libertys in jeopardy, I will always do whats right
Im out here on the front lines, sleep in peace tonight
American Soldier, Im and American, Soldier.
An American Soldier an American
Beside my brothers and my sisters, I will proudly take a stand
When libertys in jeopardy, I will always do whats right
Im out here on the front lines, sleep in peace tonight
American Soldier, Im and American, an American, an American, Soldier.
Oh please..don't be a drama queen. the flames started a long time ago, and I don't need to ask for anyone to leave considering grand, self-centered exits (and probably lurkers everyday anyway) seem to be the on the menu these days. Isn't FR great? You can bitch about it to all your friends on one post and continue to use it for free everyday. Longcut, Poohbah and others have grew close with freepers and wanted to say goodbye? Have they heard of freepmail? It can also be used to communicate to many freepers you've grown cuddily with that you plan to leave FR forever. If one makes such self-aggrandizing independent posts on the forum, it should not be so incredibly shocking that there will be critics.
I love that song. My Southern Baptist chuch manages to get on their feet for that one!
This was posted for all those who are protecting us as well as those who fight for the right to be American!
OPs4 God BLess All Freepers!
...Ahh, Stick around. :^)
