The mere presence of a firearm has stopped many criminal attacks.
I admire anyone who would live there.
I also thank them for standing their ground while we are being invaded.
And, thanks to the Minutemen for defending our border.
Almost every use of a firearm to protect someone against violence or stop criminal activity never results in the discharge of the firearm. But here on Free Republica we already know that.
So, that's what Jesse Jackson meant when he warned everybody to "stay outta da bushes!"
I believe the precise quote was, in perfect ebonics "stay out the bushes.."

Since we don't have any respect for our own immigration laws, we can't expect illegal aliens to have any respect for us whatsoever.

Most of us have respect for the immigration laws. Unfortunately our brain dead elected officials forgot what that means.

Actually, citizens in Arizona can carry what they darned well please.
John Law frowns on shotguns in bars, but so far the law lets you if you aren't drinking and the owner hasn't posted a 'no firearms' sign.
In Arizona, the right to keep and bear arms is the norm instead of the other way around.
