I expect a hard fought tough game like most games between the Spartans and a top level opponent. I hope there's no 3OT game, but it wouldn't surprise me. I think we have an experience edge, with you having a talent edge, with both schools having great coaches and coaching experience. I believe Roy Williams has 5 Final Fours as a head coach, and Tom Izzo has 4 with 1 title
I hope the final results are different that the game you described, as well as the last NCAA game between us back in 98. That was ugly. I prefer the 99-00 or 00-01 results. :)
Our last three meetings:
97-98 - 73-58 UNC in Greensboro, NCAA tourney
99-00 - 86-76 MSU in Chapel Hill, Our national title year
00-01 - 77-64 MSU in East Lansing, our last Final Four before this year.

I swear, I'm as nervous as I would be if this was the Wolfpack! Not me. I'm pulling for the Tarheels ONLY because they are a North Carolina team.

Actually, Karen and I are transplanted Yankees. We like prime rib or tender lamb with mashed potatoes and gravy. Tough to find in NC. Even when we go to Dennys for breakfast, we ask for dark gravy on our pancakes. It's a Pennsylvania recipe; similar to putting gravy on biscuites, right? Other times, blueberry jam on the pancakes after being coated with real butter. Depends on the palate needs at the time. Right?
Shoot often and on target. God Bless our military, Rummy, Rice, Cheney, and W. (Powell can go to the dumpster as far as I am concerned). IMOHO

No beer for me.
I'm drinking a good stiff Maker's Mark and water.
I need nothing less than bourbon before I can bring myself to pull for Carolina. :)

Not sure who said it, or what battle it occasioned, but someone once said that those North Carolina troops must have had tar on their heels, "to make them stick so hard". A tribute to their courage.
If there was no Texas I would move to North Carolina.
