Hi, Tex! Maybe I should mention that there really is no cash involved in this contest. It seems to be all gift certificates from local merchants toward some wedding-oriented items. There are a couple of things that they may not be able to use. They definitely won't be using the "Justice of the Peace" service. Two different bakeries are offering discounts toward the wedding cake, but Tricia has already put a big deposit down at a different bakery for their cake. (If they win, we should have enough cake to mail you some!) Another merchant is offering "$600 off" on the bridal gown. Tricia already purchased her gown for less than $200, so we're hoping that prize might be transferable so that Tricia might be able to offer it to someone else. There are many really nice things that they will definitely be able to use, though. You can find the entire list of prizes here:

done i voted for them
Which engaged couple should win the $6,600 prize package in The Sunday Challenger's Wedding Challenge?
Laurie Jones and Mark Mason 4%
Leslie Hartman and Joey Marshall 11%
Megan Allen and Erik Daniels 13%
Tricia Heist and Jake Wilson 29%
Becky Schroeder and Doug Millay 25%
Vickie Chan and Dan Phirman 18%
Oh dear, the race is really getting close now. Becky Schroeder and Doug Millay are now at 26%. They have gained a whole percentage point each day for the past 3 days. At this rate, they will catch up and possibly pass us by the end of the contest on Monday morning. I wonder how they are managing, all of a sudden, to pull so many votes so consistently.
Nah. They'll win. That 3 to 4% margin takes A LOT of votes to bump it even a little.
You are right, of course, Pocat. I was just worried about a possible last-ditch effort, perhaps using computers at an airport or college computer lab(s).
BUT---A MOST SINCERE THANK YOU TO YOU ALL. It's now 7:50 a.m. The contest is officially over in 10 minutes, and Jake and Tricia are still in the lead by 4 percentage points. Surely, they have won!
Let's hear it for the FREEPERS!!!
Clap clap clap clap...!
