Well there will be people coming out of the woodwork to call me all sorts of things(watch)- so what? I don't need an apology.

I know I am not a racist and the people who really know me know I am not a racist. That is all that really matters to me.

If he was interested he could have just asked me.

I am sure that all sorts of people will post all sorts of my posts now in an attempt to get me to run away and hide.

But I won't. I have been thru this before.

I learned the last time not to take it seriously.

I am kidding around here most of the time. I do forget that there is more than one person reading what I am posting, and that sometimes intent can get lost on a message board.

Sometimes I even say things I don't mean because I am mad. We all do that.

Most of the time when I am posting I feel as tho I am talking on the phone. I forget that it is in writing and someone-someday can get a hair across their butt and put it up for the world to critique.

So I should thank Poohbah for I learned a lesson today. And I will be better for it.

My take on the posts quoted was that DBR assumed the reference was to Christianity, not a particular group (CI). Not being too familiar with the "CI" stuff, it took me a minute to realize what the heck Poobah was talking about.

Okay, well, I am sorry to see you go. As a relative newbie, I suppose I have no standing to make such a post.

Look, I'm sorry, I'm tired, I have a massive sinus infection and have already tried posting positive "please stay" posts on hchutch's thread.

But then, I haven't been here as long as you and I suppose it must bother you to see the forum change.

If it were me, however, I would just leave, as I have, for months at a time, when I found other things to do.

I wish you both would stay. But I think I have now had my fill of opuses. (opusi?) ;)
