They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I've logged more than that on the Terri Schaivo story. Here is what I think of it, what do you think?

Brace yourself for the inevitable onslought of folks who are too deep in denial to pause even momentarily at the similarities with the Nazis. It's the if-you-compare-it-to-Nazis-you're-automatically-wrong phenomenon gone wild.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

But bad taste is priceless.

Thank you for your contribution to the degradation of the forum.

I like it. You'll get flack for it because you nailed it so well.

The 9th is without a doubt the biggest circus around, so it seems like you're stealing their notorious ability to be overturned.. Hitler on the stand? Can't we come up with some more creativity than just Hitler? Where's Kevorkian when you need him?

A lawyer Death? Isn't that just elevating lawyers a mite bit too high? (Or degrading death too far?)

My take: It is nicely drawn for just getting back into it, but it appears to be from someone who only vaguely heard of the case. Judge Greer would have been a far better target.

Perhaps if you had aimed it at the World Court and noted that they had to take notice of the judgments of the courts in the United States, it would have made far more sense (and be all that more scary.)

I think that this cartoon is what the new definition of Hyperbole should be.

Send it to Merriam Webster post haste...
