Felos felt he had to compliment Jesse Jackson before railing on the saintly Fr. Pavone; even though both men had condemned the killing of Terri.
Probably the worst part of this whole sordid government-ordered murder of an innocent disabled woman was that George Felos actually reveled in Terri's death, and what's worse, he stood by her bedside to "comfort" her during her battle with starvation and dehydration.
I've been around awhile and I've never seen, heard, read or imagined the horror that this man placed into the heart and soul of poor Terri Schiavo. He was the man who fought so hard to get her killed, and when he succeeded he tormented his victim by standing over her on her death bed. Then he tortured Terri's parents by making public announcement of how "peaceful" Terri was.
Alfred Hitchcock and Stephen King could not have dreamed up such a horrific string of events. This man Felos is a step beyond being possessed by the devil, he is the damn devil incarnate.
I think you may be right. I couldn't believe what I was seeing or hearing.
On the other hand I caught Father Pavone on the rerun of Hannity & that other guy this morning and I have nothing but the highest respect for his straight talk.
He reminds me of the rector I'm blessed with who has never given a homily that didn't ask something hard of me.
I'm not a member of the Roman Church but may God bless all our Church leaders who understand that God isn't bipartisan or inclined towards compromise.
