This forum, over the past few weeks.months has gotten frankly... UGLY! This is a tremendously sad day for many. It is unimaginably sad for the Schindlers, for the many wonderful people who have been outside the hospice for the past two weeks, and it has been very sad for many of us who feel they finally have a place that they are able to voice their opinions and views, on Free Republic.
Terri Schiavo passed away today and in my heart and the hearts of most here, she is now with the Lord. Yet, there are those who feel it necessary to continue on this day, of all days, to blast our Government, the President, the Governor, Michael Schiavo, Felos, Greer, DU, other Freepers and anyone else they can think of... May I suggest that for today, we simply grieve together... We share our hopes and prayers for Terri's family. We pray that Terri has found peace and if need be, we pick up our in-fighting and our showings of the uglier side of Free Republic tomorrow.
I unfortunately feel this thread will not get as much attention as the others but I hope we can, just for today, leave our differences at the door...

There are plenty of other threads where you can get outraged. This is a thread for those who are looking to get away from the over the top discussion.

THANK you!! As I said, I'm talking about just today, there should be a grieving period... And in my experience, it's hard to truly grieve from your heart if you have hatred filling it getting in the way....
