I Will Never Forgive Them For Terri. Never. (The hell with forgiveness and finding common ground.)

A very good Freeper has another thread going on right now, called "Let's End the Rancor." I started to respond, and realized...my RANCOR ain't going away any time soon. So....

NO! I will never forgive them.

I will never forgive the death cabal that forsook common decency and Judeo-Christian principles, and made a Never-give-in stand just to give those who embrace life grief, tension and tortured, sleepless nights.

Matthew 18:21-35

21 Then Peter came and said to him, "Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?" 22 Jesus said to him, "Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.

23 "For this reason the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his slaves. 24 When he began the reckoning, one who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him; 25 and, as he could not pay, his lord ordered him to be sold, together with his wife and children and all his possessions, and payment to be made. 26 So the slave fell on his knees before him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.' 27 And out of pity for him, the lord of that slave released him and forgave him the debt. 28 But that same slave, as he went out, came upon one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii; and seizing him by the throat, he said, 'Pay what you owe.' 29 Then his fellow slave fell down and pleaded with him, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you.' 30 But he refused; then he went and threw him into prison until he would pay the debt. 31 When his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their lord all that had taken place. 32 Then his lord summoned him and said to him, 'You wicked slave! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. 33 Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I had mercy on you?' 34 And in anger his lord handed him over to be tortured until he would pay his entire debt. 35 So my heavenly Father will also do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother or sister from your heart."

Forgive them, Father; they know not what they do.

Sorry to disagree. I think they do know.

Perhaps its a character defect but I can't forgive people who stave the helpless. Besides Jesus was in the forgiving business.

This sad episode merely confirms the urgency and the right of our side.

Naw, there can't possibly be any trolls, plants and varmints who post extreme positions on these issues trying to just make FR and conservatives look bad and force people away from the site. Another poster is doing his best today to convince me that isn't the case.

Naw........(rolling eyes!)

"You know nothing about Michael or his feelings.

You hear rethoric & run with it.

Now STHU!"

Class act. Great response. Thanks for thinking it through. Thanks for letting me know what this has all been about: Michael...(sniff, sniff)...and his feelings.

Lawyer Felos was put on the spot by a reporter and he tried to spin for all he was worth.

Saw it. Made me sick to my stomach. Then furious. Then just sad. He's a monster, in my book.

Well, my point is, Michael Schivao
has stood by Terri all these years,
seeing that she's been cared for.

The parents only visited and not
all that often until these past
few weeks.

And yes, I am a class act. I don't wish
anyone one harm. Like a lot of the
venomous posts I've seen on these threads.

Again, you don't know Michael, and
can't possibly know how he feels.

I vehemently disagree.

"The parents only visited and not

That is just an outrageous lie. And when they didn't visit, it's because they were kept away by lawyers.

"And yes, I am a class act. I don't wish

venomous posts I've seen on these threads."

I'll take your word for it.

"Again, you don't know Michael, and

Stop! That was MY point. YOU don't know Michael.

Just like I never forgave Johnny Cochran for stirring up racial animus in a country of 300 million just to get a stone-cold killer acquitted (and did NOT pray for his soul when he passed), I will never forgive this anti-American, anti-Christian minority who won this round.

You are very angry, which you deserve to be. However, why you decided to bring Johnny Cochran into the Terry Schiavo case, is beyond me. Since you invited less tolerant Freepers to jump in, here I am.

You see, I believe he could have represented her and done an outstanding job, regardless of her or his color. He would have fought for her to the bitter end, without mentioning race. It wasn't a matter of race cards being played by Mr. Cochran. It was a matter of doing the very best he could. If he exposed racism in the process--so be it.

He was not anti-Christian. He helped many Christians. It is up to God to judge him now. While I find it interolable that the courts did not take guardianship away from her "so-called" husband; I find it equally intolerable when I see a race card being played. Johnny Conchran was not the one to play the race card, he just played the cards he was dealt.

I haven't seen that word used since my Taylor Caldwell phase back in the eighties.

Gettin' to ya, huh?

If you KNOW Michael Schiavo, you have a moral obligation to expound upon your knowledge for the Freeper community. You are anonymous here, friend, and if you have actual firsthand knowledge of what his thinking has been, you should enlighten us. Think of the good you could do.

I brought Johnny Cochran into it as an example of the kind fo people I will not forgive--if you harm society, especially in an evil cause--then your heart's in the wrong place.

"It wasn't a matter of race cards being played by Mr. Cochran. It was a matter of doing the very best he could. If he exposed racism in the process--so be it."

Wrong. That's the anything-to-win mentality--anything, no matter how vile, immoral or uncivil or unfair.

As for playing the race card to expose racism...you're right. When he played the race card in the OJ trial he exposed the racism of many African Americans in this country.

Not buying it. Not for one minute.

And deejay, it's starting to sound pathetic, like a bar boast a guy gets called on, and instead of backing down, he keeps insisting it's true, but to prove it would betray someone or something.

You must have been a SEAL.
