A very good Freeper has another thread going on right now, called "Let's End the Rancor." I started to respond, and realized...my RANCOR ain't going away any time soon. So....
NO! I will never forgive them.
I will never forgive the death cabal that forsook common decency and Judeo-Christian principles, and made a Never-give-in stand just to give those who embrace life grief, tension and tortured, sleepless nights.
Don't be mean. jr has a right to his opinion BUT I do think all the hostility that exists in many Terri threads is exactly what we don't need.
Considering I've been bombarded with Nazi images and called all sorts of names throughout this mess, I don't think I'm overreacting.
There are quite a few folks here, however, who ARE overreacting.
I feel I've been wronged by Greer and Felos and their whole ghoulish team because when they devalued Terri's life, they devalued all human life--including mine.
So I feel called to pray for them and forgive them. None of that means permitting them to further succeed in their nefarious crusade.
It's so difficult, all of it, and I too am upset.

By the way, the tenor of your response better fits a rant about a long line at Walmart, not a reaction to one of the most important events of our lifetime.

You didn't, but your mindset is akin to those who have. Simply for disagreeing.

I this case, I'm afraid that I am just going to have to ask God to forgive me for my unforgiving heart.
It's not up to you to determine what my "mindset" is. Just have no way of knowing. Don't you know how to say, Sorry, didn't mean to imply you were one of the ones throwing Nazi images at me?
When you immediately go into this notion of "The hell with forgiveness and finding common ground," the answer is no. I can't say I'm sorry, because you are still tossing bricks. They may not take the form of Nazi pictures, but they are bricks nonetheless.
Screw the whole Schiavo mess. I'm just sick of being vilified by folks on FR.

That's over the top. He'll forgive you for it. But I won't, unless you apologize.
Nothing wrong with disagreeing with my conclusions -- that's what makes this Country great. Perhaps, however, you can tell me why you disagree with them -- and if you feel able to speak for those other people, why it is that they disagree with my conclusions.
Heck -- I could be wrong. But I won't know unless you explain to me how.
