Judge Greer is a republican, as is that clown on the 11th Circuit who argued the unconstitutionality of legislative checks on the judiciary.

FL judicial election are "non partisan" Greer comes from a county which is more republican than democrat. It is also worth noting that as a lawyer he would be suspect as being more left than right.

I honestly think that greer allowed the evidence of the recovered memory into the facts because it was felos in front of him.

As for that one judge on the 11th, (not to be confused with clinton appointee whitmore) was defending judicial turf.

One woman said it best on FNC. We have judges applying new math concepts. It does not matter that 2+2=5 as long as you followed the prooooocess you will get credit. The courts were looking at the process.

I also think the federal judges are loath to have to look at these cases. They do not want them on their dockets and thus they rubber stamped Greer.

At the very least, the nuclear option in the senate has become far more likely.

(I do seiously believe civil pardons power should be provided to the Governors just as there are pardons in criminal cases.)
