What I am pointing out is that it does us no good to pretend that there is a consensus on FR about the issues here. Reading any of the Schiavo threads demonstrates that in a matter of minutes.
Ok I understand what you are saying. You are right, there is no consensus, but that doesn't mean we can't try to work towards reigning in a runaway judiciary that has proven in cases outside of Terri's that it thinks it rules the roost.
Do you consider Judge Birth of the 11th Circuit to be part of the "runaway judiciary"? He's one of the most socially conservative judges on the federal bench.
