To watch South Park enjoyably you have to be willing to forgive when one's own dearest beliefs are skewered, for the rare opportunity to laugh at the ridiculous things other people take seriously.

I agree. Over the years, my skin has toughened to where someone may make fun at my expense and I'll still laugh.
