Three weeks ago, if you even intimated that the Republican party might not be the only way to achieve conservative goals, you would have been team-slapped. I've been watching the commentary, and the polls, on the Schiavo tragedy, and it seems your reaction is getting more and more common. I personally believe that Jeb and George demonstrated enormous cowardice in this exchange. I believe the issue itself has strengthed an unaccountable and tyrannical judiciary. It has also highlighted the moral depravity of a very large share of the American people.
There is much work to be done.

Based on how the "leadership" is acting, I'm pretty sure the GOP will stick with the "but we were just following the law" excuse. No better time than now to keep one's voting options open.
