Terri Schiavo is being killed, by a court, under a civil preponderance of the evidence standard.

The judge who weighed the evidence (wrongly) is then deferred to by the appellate courts under a clearly erroneous standard, which is very hard to meet.

In other words, it's easy to kill her, hard to overturn.

Judge Greer is a murderer.

Will there be any fallout for him and others responsible for Terri's eminent (apart from a miracle) death. Is everything going to be business as usual or can we prosecute or punish these murderers in some way?

Charges at the Nuremberg trial were brought against the legal system—judges, and officials of the German Ministry of Justice.

German Judge : "I never knew it would come to that."

American judge : "It came to that the first time you sentenced a man you knew to be innocent."
